Attachment & Settling In

Our VIP babies’ safety and emotional security is paramount. To
ensure a safe and secure transition from parent care to ours, on a daily basis we encourage our new and current babies to settle by helping to develop a strong attachment and bond, to one or more of our practitioners within the setting through cuddles and laughter. Currently we assign every child with a key worker who supports not only the child but the family to become confident at the new routine of baby care; our practitioners will allow a gradual settling in process again for both baby and parent as we believe the more in harmony we are with the parents (gaining all information on child’s routine and personal requirements) the more at ease and relaxed the baby will feel thus allowing a smooth and happy transition into our stimulating nursery environment for each baby. |
